Obituary for Gilbert R "Richard" Pattie

Gilbert Richard Pattie, 77, of Warren, died Thursday October 1,2020 at home.

He was born in Fall River, a son of the late Joseph G. and Leona (Beaulieu) Pattie.

“Richard “ was a Floor Man for the Carol Cable Company for many years.

He has been a Warren resident all of his life ,and Richard was also a parishioner of the former St. Jean the Baptiste Church.

He was a member of the Warren Fire Department, Engine 3 for many years.

Richard loved spending time in New Hampshire.

He is survived by a brother Paul Pattie of Newport.

Richard is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Richard was the life partner of the late Jeannette Rodrigues, and the father of the late Donna Marie Ruben
Richard was the brother of the late Robert Pattie, Norman Pattie and Philip J. Pattie.

His funeral will be held Saturday October 10,2020 at 8:30 from the SMITH FUNERAL and MEMORIAL SERVICES, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am in St. Mary of the Bay Church, 645 Main Street, Warren.

Burial will follow in St. Jean the Baptiste Cemetery, Warren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours are Saturday Morning from 8:30 – 10:00 am .

Richard Pattie was a member of the Narragansett Fire Co.# 3 following in the footsteps of his father Joseph..Richards service date was 1966.. He always marched in firemens memorial and worked at the Annual turkey roll and Company Clambake..RIP Richard for you were a great member and always loyal to the Officers and other members.. Captain Vinny Calenda (ret) .
