Obituary for Joan Ann Jannitto (Rene)

Joan Ann (Rene) Jannitto, 84, of Bristol, RI, died, Wednesday, November 18, 2020, at Crestwood Nursing Home, Warren.
Born in Fall River, MA, she was the daughter of the late Oliver and Florence (Vincent) Rene.
Mrs. Jannitto had worked as an office worker at I. Shalom for many years. She was a Communicant of St. Mary of the Bay. Mrs. Jannitto was formerly of 12 Brady Street, Warren.
She is survived by two sons, Joseph F. Jannitto and his wife Pamela of Bristol, RI, and Christopher J. Jannitto and his wife Megan of Warren, RI, two sisters, Bernadette DaRoche of Rehoboth, MA, and Doris Medici of Warren, RI, and four grandchildren, Alicia, Michael, Niki, and Samantha.
She was the mother of the late Sgt. Michael J. Jannitto.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, December 11, 2020, at 10AM, in St. Mary of the Bay Church, 645 Main Street, Warren.
Burial will be private.
Calling hours are omitted.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Autism Project, 1516 Atwood Avenue, Johnston, RI, 02919.
Arrangements are by Smith Funeral & Memorial Services, 8 Schoolhouse Road, Warren, RI.
