Obituary for Nolan David Carlson

Warren -- Nolan David Carlson,12,of Warren, died Monday September 2, 2019 at the Arnold Palmer Childrens Hospital in Orlando, Florida, while vacationing with his parents, visiting the Orlando theme parks.

He was born in Fall River Ma., the son of Eric and Kristie (Harrington) Carlson.

Nolan had just finished the sixth grade at Kickemuit Middle School in Warren, and was about to begin the seventh grade this year.

Nolan has lived in Warren his whole life. He loved animals especially his Dachshund he called "Little Dog," and was he a frequent visitor at the Roger Williams Park Zoo where he went almost every week.

He loved to play video games on an iPad. He loved spending time in Florida at the Orlando theme parks.

Nolan loved riding the Roger Williams Park Zoo, Buttonwood Park Zoo and the Warwick Mall Carousels.

He also liked to draw, and read Dr. Seuss books .

His favorite color was red.

Besides his parents he is survived by his Memere and Pepere Jackie and Robert Duperre of Fall River, Ma., his paternal grandparents Steve and Ruth Carlson of Riverside, RI, Maternal grandparents Lori and Al Ploude of Warren, and Dave and Sheila Harrington of Somerset Ma.
Nolan was the nephew of Joel Harrington of Bristol, and Marc and Jen Carlson of Riverside

He also leaves his cousins Tyler, Jayden, Jeremy, Kaylee, Austin and Xavier, and also many other cousins, and many Aunts and Uncles.

Nolan was the great grandson of the late Avis Harrington.

A Prayer service will be held on Monday September 9,2019 at 7:30 pm in the SMITH FUNERAL and MEMORIAL SERVICES,8 Schoolhouse Road,Warren RI.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Calling hours are Monday from 4:00pm - 8:00pm.
