Bobby was a great guy and fun to sit with in Generations and Ocean State Drum corps. After we met it turned out he had served in national guard 20 yrs earlier with my father Joseph Sylvia “wagon wheel” Bobby called him. Introducing me to drum corps and “having fun”. Still listen to my recording of him goofing at rehearsal not knowing I was recording on my boom box. Classic Bobby! Condolences to his family. He has a special place in my heart. Dearly missed.

My sincerest condolences to the family of Bob. He was my bus monitor at First Student for 3 years and I thoroughly enjoyed his company. He had me in stitches nearly every day with his wit, dry sense of humor, and overall personality. Bob was one of the funniest people I have ever met. He knew my father very well (who died in 1978 when I was 14), and he would tell me stories about him which I loved to hear. He also gave me excellent advice during a particular situation and I remember it well and still use it as my motto to this day. I was just told of his death an hour ago and my heart is saddened as I am sure yours is as well. I pray for comfort and peace for all of his loved ones during this time. God bless! Tanya Dion
